DT hos Kortgleder

Jippi - Jeg har fått plass på Kortgleders fantastiske Designteam!!! - Jeg er beæret!
De andre jentene er en stor inspirasjon for meg, og jeg er utrolig glad for å få lov til å bli en del av teamet.

Det er valentine og morsdag i februar og en god anledning til å vise at man setter pris på kjæresten eller moren sin. Som mitt inspirasjonsbidrag har valgt å lage et kort og en gaveboks til kjæresten min - vi har nemlig 20 års jubileum nå i februar:-)

Jippi!!! - I`m selected to be a new member of the fantastic Designteam at Kortgleder!! I`m honored! The other girls are great inspiration to me, and I`m really happy to become a part of this team.

It`s valaentine and mothers day in February, and a great uppertunity to show your boyfriend / girlfriend or your mother that you appreciate them. I have chosen to make a valentines card and box for my inspirational contribution - we are celebrating our 20th year together now in February:-)

Stampacular Sunday Challenge #149

This is a card I made for a colleague of mine that wanted to give away a nice card for a Christening. Its a box with an easel card on top, and a paper wagon inside:-)
i have used a Sugar Nellie digi stamp, colored with Promarkers, and I have used spellbinder dies,  Martha Stewart punch, Quick Kutz letters, the butterfly and swirl are from Cheryl Ann ( if I remember correctly) I have used Diamonds on the wagon - (and not pearls) because diamonds are a girls best friend:-) and they sparkle as the stars in the sky.

Cardbox for my sister

My sister had recently a birthday, and I made her this box, and filled it with Promarker pens as a gift. She loved itJ, and it’s of course in my favorite color these days; Purple/lilac.

I painted the box with white acrylicic paint, and  I have used papers from Fabscraps, the stamp is from Sweet Pea, and I have colored it with promarkers. I have used Msartha Stewart border punch, spellbinder dies. I believe the frame is from Kort og Godt, I have used Color Box fluid chalk; Royal Silk and Judi Kins Diamond Glaze. The lilac flourish is a wood flourish from Kaiser Craft. I have painted it with Tim Holta crackle paint, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink; Dusty concord, and on top I have used Judi Kins Diamond Glaze. The corner punch is from Nellie Snellen, and the butterfly punches as well. The metal embellishments on the sides are from Kort og Godt.

Papiravisen 7# Challenge - Steampunk

I got some new Tickled Pink Stamps “from” the postman the other day, and I had a hard time choosing which one to start with, but since I was going to make a birthday card for my nephew it had to be “Lil Victorian Steampunk Eric”. I have colored him with my promarker pens, and glued him on some black paper. On the front of the card I have used papers from 3ndy paper and My Minds Eye. I just love this new paper from “My Minds Eye” so I wanted to keep the front as “clean and simple” as possible. I started to make a rectangular card, but turned it into a “Book” card as I went along making it. The “hinges” are from Sissix - Tim Holtz Bigz dies.  (The mini flourishes on the backside as well – but a movers & shapers dies.) On the left side inside I have used a spellbinder dies, which I have distressed with Tim Holtz Distress ink – Forest Moss. Tthe spinners are from Sissix-  Tim Holtz Bigz dies. I have also actually used a real mouse trap, to hold the moneygift, I have only painted it with black acrylic paint. The key is from “Kort og Godt”. On the right side – becides steampunk Eric, I have used some Tim Holtz sprocket gears and fasteners. I have also used Sissix - Tim Holtz mini Gears Movers & shapers dies on a piece of metal paper which I embossed in Sissix – Tim Holtz Texture fade - collage2 and then brushed some black acrylic paint on. The heart is from Prima Vintage trinkets collection.

I have colored a sweet pea stamp with Promarkers, and I have used Diamond Glaze on some of the details. The butterflies and the borders are all Martha Stewart punches. The text on the front says; "You are Unique" and the text on the inside goes something like this; " The days goes quietly forward. Now is the time to send a hug from someone who cares. To someone close. A friend like you is rare." The papers are from Prima and Fancy Pants and frames from Spellbinder.
