Stampacular Sunday Challenge #149

This is a card I made for a colleague of mine that wanted to give away a nice card for a Christening. Its a box with an easel card on top, and a paper wagon inside:-)
i have used a Sugar Nellie digi stamp, colored with Promarkers, and I have used spellbinder dies,  Martha Stewart punch, Quick Kutz letters, the butterfly and swirl are from Cheryl Ann ( if I remember correctly) I have used Diamonds on the wagon - (and not pearls) because diamonds are a girls best friend:-) and they sparkle as the stars in the sky.

Cardbox for my sister

My sister had recently a birthday, and I made her this box, and filled it with Promarker pens as a gift. She loved itJ, and it’s of course in my favorite color these days; Purple/lilac.

I painted the box with white acrylicic paint, and  I have used papers from Fabscraps, the stamp is from Sweet Pea, and I have colored it with promarkers. I have used Msartha Stewart border punch, spellbinder dies. I believe the frame is from Kort og Godt, I have used Color Box fluid chalk; Royal Silk and Judi Kins Diamond Glaze. The lilac flourish is a wood flourish from Kaiser Craft. I have painted it with Tim Holta crackle paint, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink; Dusty concord, and on top I have used Judi Kins Diamond Glaze. The corner punch is from Nellie Snellen, and the butterfly punches as well. The metal embellishments on the sides are from Kort og Godt.

Utfordring hos Heidis Hobbystuggu 5#

Det er høst allerede, og klart for en ny utfordring hos Heidis Hobbystuggu. Stikk over der og bli med på utfordring nr 5. Tema denne gangen er høstfarger.

Kortomania – bruk bånd

Kortet er laget av ark fra Bazill stanset ut med dies fra Spellbinders. Mønsterarket er fra Bo Bunny, og stempelene er Hampton Art Graphic 45 – Magic of oz 2. Jeg har fargelagt med Promarker tusjer. Vingene og det meste av metallpynten er fra Tim Holtz, men jeg tror gjøkuret, og det lille hjertet på baksiden er fra Prima. Jeg har brukt 4 forskjellige spellbinders dies 1 på forsiden og 2 inni og 1 bak. Inni kortet har jeg farget et blondebånd med Glimmermist. Kantene på arkene er svertet med Distress ink fra Tim Holtz /

The card is made of cardstock from Bazill, punched out with dies from Spellbinders. The papers are from Bo Bunny, and the stamps from Hampton Art Graphic 45 – Magic of oz 2. I have colored with promarker pens. The wings and most of the metallic embellishment are from Tim Holtz, but I believe that the cuckoo clock is from Prima. I have used 4 different spellbinders dies – 1 on the front of the card, 2 on the inside, and 1 on the backside. Inside the card I have used a lace which I have colored with glimmermist. The papers have been distressed with distress ink from Tim Holtz

Sommerutfordring hos Heidis Hobbystuggu

Det er sommer og ekstra lang innleveringsfrist hos Heidis Hobbystuggu. Stikk over der og bli med på utfordring nr 4.

Denne gangen er tema å lage et kort til en MANN. Ikke gutt eller baby, men et "barskt" manne kort. Tema er valgfritt men en liten ekstra vri blir at kortet skal ha en tekst eller overskrift men det er ikke lov å bruke tekst stempler eller digistempler.

(digistempel motiv er lov, men teksten skal ikke være digi eller stemplet, skriv for hånd, bruk diecuts bokstaver eller andre alfabet osv)

Siden jeg har fått plass på DT til Heidis Hobbystuggu med start i september deltar jeg ikke i konkurransen, men jeg hadde så lyst å prøve meg på oppgaven allikevel, så her er mitt "bidrag":-)

It`s summer and you can use extra long time on the ongoing challenge at Heidis Hobbystuggu. Pop over there and have a go on the no 4 challenge.

This time the theme is to make a card for a MAN. Not a baby or boy, but a tough mans card. The theme is optional, but you have to use a text or title that`s not a digi- or stamped image.

Bacause I have become a DT member at Heidis Hobbystuggu– starting in September, I`m not competing in this challenge – but I wanted to have a go at it anywayJ

- and if you wondered – I have used a tag, that I have run trough my Bigshot  in a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I have used the following TH Distress Ink; Weathered Wood, Peeled Paint, Broken China, Vintage Photo and Black Soot. Most of the embellishments are from Tim Holtz  except the metal crown and the key. The birdcage is from Kaiser Kraft – colored with TH Distress Ink Black Soot. The wings behind the clock is from My Minds Eye (if I don`t remember wrong), the clock is from a 45Graphic paper and the journaling tag on the back is from 7Gypsies.
