DT Card for OSAAT

Hello everybody! It`s sunday and time for a new challenge over at OSAAT. For this weeks challenge we are wanting to see White +1 other colour (of course skin and hair if you need it). Steampunk

Så var det på tide med litt Steampunk igjen:-) Jeg har brukt ark fra 7.dots, kant diesen øverst og stempelene jeg har brukt er fra Tim Holtz. Mesteparten av pynten er fra Tim Holtz og 7 gypsies, men jeg har også brukt klokkedeler, og fjærer og muttere fra biltema. Kroner og stjerner er grungeboard fra TH. "Kjolestativet" er et såkalt 3D Papier Tole dies fra Hot off the Press. /

Then its time for some steampunk again:-) I have used papers from 7.dots, the dies on top, and the stamps are from Tim Holtz. Most of the embellishment are from TH and 7 Gypsies, but I have also used parts from clocks, and springs and nuts from Biltema. The crown and stars are grungeboard from TH. The dress rack is a so called 3D papier Tole Dies  from Hot off the Press.

Love Challenge / kjærlighetsutfordring

Here is my second inspiration for this months ”Love” Challenge over at Kortgleder. I have used pattern paper from Wild Rose Studios (Letters from Paris), Vintage heart stamp ( CL208 ), Butterfly punch, small (NS-FLP018), Floral punch rose leaves (NS-FLP031) and Multiframe Dies, Heart (NS-MFD022). Lets light a candle.

It`s been a tragic weekend in Norway – with so many young people killed at Utøya and some in Oslo, but we will not be silenced or let the man who did this win. We will stand together and fight for our democratic rights and an open society. Yesterday many people light a candle in thousands of homes and in front of the Oslo Church, let it be the sign of hope and let it  shine for those who have lost their lives or lost someone close, my thoughts and compassion goes to you.
At first I didn’t think it would be right to publish something, but then I realized that this was just the thing I had to do…… so here is my project. We just have to keep on doing the things we love and show the world that we won`t be stopped.

I started out with this – and had an Idea;
I painted almost everything with black Adirondack acrylic paint from Ranger, and then went over it with a light stroke of Making Memories Gold paint to get the patinated effect. The key and the large wings are Grungeboard from Tim Holtz, colored with distress ink colors; Broken China, Peeled Paint, and Black Soot. The small key, heart, small birdcage, pen nib, sprocket gear, the metallic clock, crowns, small wings and birds are all Tim Holtz.The 2 large buttons are from Graphics45. The large Bird cage on the front is from KaiserCraft and I have painted it with black and gold. On the left side in front I have used lacework and added some 3D molding paste. I have sprayed Tattered Angels Glimmer mist an Chalkboard on the molding paste, the large butterfly, the flowers and the 2 small stars.Colors used; Juniper, Jazz Blue, Slate for the most – and on some things a little bit of Snow Queen mist and Peacock Chalkboard.

 On the backside I have painted the large star with black and gold (it was silver colored), I have also used spinners, hitch fasteners, metallic flower and leaf from Tim Holtz. I have also used a car fuse, and on the front a fluorescent tube.  The bottlecap is filled with molding paste, and 2 buttons , and is also sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist. Around the large key I have used regular wire that I have painted in black and gold. I have used Martha Stewart punch around the box together with a chain. The sign says”Grattis” which is “slang “ for Congratulations.
